  • One essay/personal statement, approximately 250 to 650 words in length
  • English-Language proficiency scores: for example, IELTS

Transfer students will need to provide all of the above including course descriptions or syllabus.

Internship Placement Programs

Pace University is ranked in the top nine percent of private US schools in terms of providing a return for tuition investment.

For the 2021 graduating class, 93 percent of undergraduate students and 97 percent of graduate students were employed, continuing their education, or involved in service within one year of graduation. Pace University alumni are employed by major corporations such as EY, Goldman Sachs, Google, HBO, IBM, J.P. Morgan, Microsoft, MTV, NBC Universal, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and Sony Music, among others.

While at Pace, students have access to the excellent Career Services Department. Pace University Career Services has one of the largest internship placement programs of any university in the New York City area, posting over 19,000 internship, jobs, and OPT positions each year. We urge our international students to take full advantage of all that Career Services offers, including advising, career and internship fairs, and networking and CV-writing workshops. Our students intern and work at a wide variety of major companies such as IBM, Ernst & Young, MasterCard, JP Morgan Chase, Verizon, Mizhou Bank, CBS Networks, Warner Music Group, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP.

All this, as well as Pace’s reputation, means that Pace students are academically and professionally prepared to launch their careers in their selected disciplines.

Below is a checklist of the documents required for a completed application:

  • Completed online application
  • Two letters of recommendation (three are required for the PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology, the PhD in Mental Health Counselling, the MSEd in School Psychology, and the MSEd in Bilingual School Psychology).
  • A CV or Resume describing at least the past five years of employment history and any significant community, professional, or college extracurricular activities.
  • A personal statement
  • All official transcripts
  • English-Language proficiency scores: for example, IELTS
  • GMAT or GRE (Graduate students)
  • Application fee

Financing

Scholarship and Grants

Scholarships and grants are forms of gift aid, meaning you do not have repay them or earn the funds by working.

Merit Scholarships

Recipients are eligible to receive only ONE of the following Pace University awards. Scholarships are available for a maximum of 4 years from the term the student entered the University, or until the first bachelor’s degree is completed. Students enrolled in an approved 5-year combined degree program may receive the award for up to 5 years, as long as they are enrolled for a minimum of 12 credits. Summer sessions are not included. These awards are applicable only to tuition charges at Pace and may not, in combination with other tuition specific financial aid, exceed the student’s actual tuition. Renewal is automatic provide the student maintains the minimum cumulative GPA requirement and continuous full-time enrollment for each Fall and Spring term.

Recipients must sign an award agreement form, which will be available on their portal under “Special Messages” tab, once they have accepted the award. Award agreement forms must be printed, signed and returned to the Financial Aid Office before the award can be applied to tuition charges.
