Whether you want to make documentary films or fiction features, be a video journalist, a cinematographer, or an editor, the Digital Cinema and Filmmaking program from Pace University will provide you with the real-world skills you need to achieve a successful career in film.

Learn in our state-of-the-art Communications Center, equipped with professional digital equipment including HD cameras, AVID and Adobe Creative Cloud editing systems, two digital audio recording studios, two sound stages, and a high caliber film screening room with surround sound.

Through required internships you will earn academic credit, gain valuable professional skills such as research, writing and pitching ideas, technical HD video production, digital editing (Adobe and Avid), directing, producing, and casting; and build a network of industry contacts.

Upon graduation, you will have created multiple short film projects which will form the basis of your professional reel.
